Everyone accepts that heat generated in factories can quickly become excessive and unbearable when ambient temperatures increase.

Poor ventilation and hot working conditions directly affect the attitude of a workforce.

At a fraction of the cost of refrigerated air conditioning or conventional air handlers and substantially more effective than mechanical ventilation, evaporative cooling equipment is often the most cost effective method of providing comfortable working conditions.

Fully ducted systems are a simple and easy solution to provide a cool fresh environment to benefit any factory workplace, quickly handling excess heat, fumes and dust by delivering freshly cooled filtered air in sufficient quantities to satisfy any workforce.

In all cases the option of steel or textile ducting is available.

Where outside space is at a premium, the option for evaporative cooling equipment to be located on the roof may be preferable, though H & S issues will need to be considered for ongoing maintentance.

Internally suspended systems offer great flexibility in positioning as they can be easily installed suspended from the roof to give great localised spot cooling.

Where adequate ventilation exists, this is an extremely low-cost installation without sacrificing any floor space. However, due consideration needs to be given to close proximity to working factory equipment.
