OSKAR self-supporting arms provide the most economical and effective methods for the capture of fumes. Contaminants are removed at their source. The use of self-supporting joints, flexible hoses and smooth bore tubing allow for easy placement of the arm’s hood near the source of problem.

Fume arm tubes are fabricated of steel with cast aluminium joints which include friction disc and are fully adjustable to the workers desired tension.

The arms include a handle which completely encircles the hood in order to facilitate easy repositioning from all sides. Hood diameters vary from 160mm/6" on the 75mm/3” arms, to 350mm/14" on the 200mm/8" arms. All hoods are equipped for installation of an optional light kit.

OSKAR self-supporting arms can be combined with several accessories to provide the best solution for a particular problem:

- swinging extension booms to increase reaches
- arms with a standing bench mountable flange
- fans or filtering system

A large variety of hoods can be manufactured to suit a particular requirement. Different diameters, constructions, material are available.

Hose Reels

OsKar Exhaust Hose Reels are designed for the extraction of car and truck exhaust gases at the tailpipe which are emitted inside buildings. They are designed for facilities such as vehicle service garages and vehicle storage garages as well as hard to reach areas for many other types of fumes and gases.

A flexible hose mounted on the reel allows for extraction of gas-air mixture with maximum temperature 150C. The OsKar hose reel is made from steel components which are galvanised or painted.

The spring mechanism housed on one of the sheaves allows easy manual unrolling and automatic retraction of the flexible hose. The hose may be placed in almost any position by means of a ratchet locking device mounted on the Spring Cassette.

The reel is constructed to operate with the Sliding Exhaust rail. Flexible hoses in diameters 4" (100mm), 5" (125mm) and 6" (160mm) and varying lengths can be installed. The inlet end of the flexible hose can be equipped with different types of nozzles which adapt to the tailpipe. The outlet of the reel is designed to connect the flexible hose or spiral duct with a diameter of 6". A fan may also be directly mounted to the reel.
